Hello to my three readers. It’s been a while…I’ll say it, too long, since my last update. I’d say that life got in the way, and it wouldn’t be false, but I need to make more time to do this, which is what I’m going to try to do starting here.

I played a lot of pretty awesome games those crazy nights of GenCon. One of those nights, my friend Curt drug me out to go play some new games, one I had heard of but never played, and one I’d never heard of. This post will discuss the latter, a gem called Zendo. Continue reading

I’m going to take a brief departure from the Dating Misadventures of Joey FatOne for the GenCon Healthy Gamer report.

I think I did pretty decently all things considered. I managed to eat a real meal most days, and at least half of them were sensible choices. Admittedly, there was not a single night that I didn’t enjoy a few drinks, which I know isn’t exactly productive, but when in Rome…or in Indy, I suppose. I didn’t end up making it to the gym (boo! hiss!) on account of all of the Gen Con to do, and my sleep was not exactly frequent. From 7 am Wednesday to 10 pm Monday, I slept a total of 20 hours…and I wasn’t even the least rested of the people I kept company with. I did still get in a lot of walking. Continue reading

It’s once again time for The Best Four Days in Gaming. My biggest question is: Where the hell did that last year go? My second biggest question is: What am I going to do better this year?
